Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China officially announced the list of key projects of the 2025 regional innovation and development joint fund. The project of "Research on safe and stable operation theory and method of large low lift pumping station units" led by yuanshouqi, director of the national water pump and system engineering technology research center of our university, was successfully funded, with an approved fund of 2.57 million yuan.
As the core infrastructure of national water resources allocation and transmission, the operation reliability of pump station is directly related to the overall function of national water network. However, the pumping station unit has been in a complex working environment for a long time, and each component of the unit needs to bear multiple effects such as mechanical stress, hydraulic impact and vibration, which is easy to cause hydraulic failure, mechanical failure and electrical failure.
The project closely focuses on the strategic requirements of the national water network interconnection, and aims at the shortcomings of the existing safe and stable operation theory and fault diagnosis methods of pumping station units. It is planned to develop an intelligent system integrating data collection, analysis and processing, early warning and diagnosis, so as to realize the closed-loop fault early warning and accurate diagnosis from abnormal perception to autonomous decision-making, and to overcome the problems of accurate maintenance management and intelligent operation and maintenance of large-scale low lift pumping station units. The project achievements will significantly improve the intelligent level of the pump station and provide reliable theoretical and technical support for the safe and stable operation of the large-scale low lift pump station of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project.
