On August 14, the promotion meeting of the national key R & D plan project "R & D and integration demonstration of intensive farmland precision sprinkler irrigation technology and equipment in Huang Huai Region" led by Professor Li Hong of our university was held in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province. The project specially invited experts kangshaozhong, academician of China Agricultural University, yinfeihu, academician of Xinjiang Academy of agricultural reclamation Sciences, yuanshouqi, researcher of Jiangsu University, gongshihong, researcher of China Academy of water resources and hydropower, and Professor sunshikun of Northwest University of agriculture and forestry science and technology to form an expert group to guide the project.

The conference was hosted by Jiangsu University and organized by Jiangsu Huayuan water saving Co., Ltd. the project leaders and key members from China Agricultural University, northwest agricultural and Forestry University of science and technology, China Academy of water resources and hydropower, Farmland Irrigation Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, intelligent equipment technology research center of Beijing Academy of agricultural and Forestry Sciences, China Academy of agricultural mechanization Group Co., Ltd., Dayu water saving Group Co., Ltd., Henan Ruitong Water Conservancy Engineering Construction Group Co., Ltd. and other units attended the conference.

Professor Lihong, the project leader, presided over the opening ceremony, and academician kangshaozhong presided over the expert review session. Professor Lihong, the project leader, reported on the overall implementation of the project, and the project leaders reported in detail on the research progress of the project, the completion of assessment indicators and the next research plan. The expert group spoke highly of the work results and put forward valuable suggestions on coordination and matching among topics and construction of demonstration areas, pointing out the direction for the project to better meet the mid-term inspection and follow-up research. Professor Lihong, the project leader, said that he would seriously implement the expert opinions, cooperate with each other and complete the project objectives and tasks with high quality.

In the afternoon of the same day, all participants went to Xuzhou Suining demonstration area for investigation. As a core application scenario for the integration of various technical modes, the demonstration area provided important support for the smooth progress of the project and later research.
