On September 7, China Machinery Industry Federation and China General Machinery Industry Association hosted a scientific and technological achievements appraisal meeting in Zhenjiang to appraise the technical achievements of the "hualong-1" reactor coolant pump axial flow hydraulic model R & D project jointly completed by Jiangsu University and Harbin Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. The meeting was presided over by Huang Li, President of China General Machinery Industry Association.
The appraisal committee elected academician yeqizhen of China Nuclear Industry Group Co., Ltd. as the chairman of the appraisal committee. The appraisal committee listened to the technical summary report of the project team, inspected the test site and model device, reviewed relevant documents, and conducted questions and discussions. In this project, an efficient design method of axial flow hydraulic model of nuclear main pump was proposed, and the axial flow hydraulic model of "hualong-1" nuclear main pump with excellent hydraulic performance was successfully developed. Through the gas-liquid two-phase four quadrant test, the four quadrant operation characteristics, pressure fluctuation characteristics and two-phase degradation function of nuclear main pump under different void fraction were obtained for the first time. The appraisal committee believes that the axial-flow hydraulic model of the nuclear main pump developed by the project has independent intellectual property rights and fills the domestic gap. The hydraulic performance of the model is superior to similar foreign products and reaches the international leading level. The project achievements have successfully passed the scientific and technological achievements appraisal of China Machinery Industry Federation.
Professor xingweihong, President of the University, attended the meeting and delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the University, briefly introduced the situation of Jiangsu University and the advantageous disciplines of power engineering and Engineering Thermophysics, and once again thanked the leaders and experts attending the meeting for their long-term care and support for Jiangsu University. Suiyongbin, former chief engineer of China Machinery Industry Federation, congratulated the project team on its achievements and hoped that relevant engineering companies, design institutes, manufacturers and universities could further strengthen cooperation in the future and make greater contributions to promoting the development of China's nuclear power industry. Limenqi, general manager of Harbin Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd., thanked all leaders and experts for their great attention and help to the localization of nuclear main pump, and will deepen the cooperation between industry, University and research in the follow-up research work to jointly tackle key problems. As the project leader, researcher yuanshouqi of our university gave a thank-you speech and said that in the future, he would lead the team to continue to carry forward the scientific spirit of "two bombs and one satellite" and contribute more to the localization and development of nuclear power pumps in China.
