On May 25, Harbin Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. organized a site witness meeting for the hydraulic model performance test of the main pump of Hualong 1 Zhangzhou 3&4 project in Jiangsu University. Relevant experts from China Nuclear Power Research and Design Institute, China Nuclear Power Guodian Zhangzhou Energy Co., Ltd., China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., Harbin Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd., Jiangsu University and other units attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by yuanshouqi, a researcher of Jiangsu University.
The meeting set up a test site witness expert group, listened to the project R & D work report of the nuclear power pump research team of Jiangsu University, checked the model pump prototype test device and instruments used, reviewed the model pump prototype test process records, and witnessed the hydraulic model performance test on site. The field performance test results fully meet the relevant index requirements of the project technical agreement.
The success of the hydraulic model performance test witnessed on site indicates that the localization of the hydraulic model of Hualong No. 1 axial-flow nuclear main pump in China has made phased progress. The participating experts fully affirmed the R & D work carried out by the nuclear power pump research team of Jiangsu University. Yuanshouqi said that the achievements of the project can not be separated from the hard work of the pump research team for nuclear power, the support of platforms such as the national key discipline of fluid machinery and engineering of Jiangsu University, the advantageous discipline of power engineering and Engineering Thermophysics of Jiangsu Universities, and the national water pump and system engineering technology research center. The team will make persistent efforts to fully complete the follow-up work of the research and development of the hydraulic model of the main pump.
Facing the major demand of national nuclear power localization, the nuclear power pump research team led by yuanshouqi has worked closely with many domestic nuclear power pump manufacturers since 2006, undertaken the technical research and development, on-site operation and maintenance and other tasks of the localization of the third generation nuclear power pump, and provided technical and intellectual support to the nuclear power pump manufacturers, design institutes, engineering companies and owners.
