From November 21 to 22, the equipment manufacturing finals of the 2022 "science and technology innovation and entrepreneurship competition" was held in Rugao City, Nantong, hosted by Jiangsu Science and Technology Association, Taiwan Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's government, Jiangsu Provincial Department of industry and information technology, Jiangsu Provincial Department of agriculture and rural areas, Jiangsu Federation of trade unions, Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, and organized by Rugao Municipal People's government and the service center of the provincial society.
The theme of this competition is "self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology, and innovation and entrepreneurship drive development". After fierce competition, 3 first prizes, 5 second prizes and 7 third prizes were won in the final. The project "research and application of transient process theory and key technologies of special mixed flow pump" by researcher Li Wei of our University won the first prize of equipment manufacturing innovation group.
Aiming at the major technical bottleneck of improving the transient performance of the mixed flow pump, relying on the national water pump engineering center, the national key disciplines of fluid machinery and engineering, and with the support of the national science and technology plan project, the project team has created the prediction theory and method of the transient characteristics of the mixed flow pump, solved the key scientific and technological problems of the high-performance mixed flow pump, played an important role in leading the development and technological progress of the industry, national defense and energy security, and has a promising prospect, which has been widely praised by the judges.
