Recently, in order to promote the implementation of the innovation driven development strategy and the Rural Revitalization Strategy, and give full play to the leading role of scientific and technological innovation in promoting the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas and the modernization of agricultural and rural areas, the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas issued the commendation decision on the 2020-2021 Shennong China Agricultural Science and technology award, which shows the agricultural scientific and technological personnel and innovation team who have made outstanding contributions to China's agricultural science and technology progress and agricultural and rural economic development. The research achievement of yuanshouqi's research team, "key technologies and industrialization of high-performance intelligent sprinkler irrigation units and equipment", won the first prize of scientific research achievements.

At the end of the 11th Five Year Plan period, researcher yuanshouqi organized a research group to conduct in-depth analysis and research, and proposed to develop a large number of small and medium-sized sprinkler irrigation units and equipment, so as to adapt to the basic agricultural conditions of China's "large country and small farmers". After more than ten years of systematic and in-depth research, we have made breakthroughs in the key technologies of high-performance intelligent sprinkler irrigation units and equipment, created a series of reel type sprinkler irrigation machines, multi-functional light and small sprinkler irrigation machines, low-pressure sprinkler heads and other products, as well as accurate and efficient intelligent sprinkler irrigation modes, and realized the industrialization of a new generation of high-performance intelligent sprinkler irrigation machines and equipment. It has cultivated leading enterprises in the sprinkler irrigation machine industry in China, influenced and promoted the product upgrading of mainstream backbone enterprises of sprinkler irrigation machines. The product specifications have grown from the original 4 types to more than 50 types, and the national ownership has grown from thousands of sets to more than 100000 sets, with a market share of more than 70% of the country. It has made important contributions to promoting water-saving agriculture in China, improving the technical level of water-saving irrigation equipment in China and promoting the scientific and technological progress of the industry.
