On April 6, the awarding ceremony of the 2020 agricultural machinery science and technology award was successfully held in Zhumadian, Henan Province. The research achievement "research and application of key technologies of efficient multi working condition sprinkler irrigation equipment" by yuanshouqi, a researcher of our university, won the first prize of agricultural machinery science and technology.
The water-saving irrigation research team of our university has been committed to the independent innovation and improvement of agricultural water-saving irrigation equipment in China for a long time, and has made important contributions to the efficient utilization of water resources, drought resistance and disaster reduction, and the promotion of national food security. This award-winning achievement aims at the industry problems that need to be solved urgently, such as poor applicability, poor matching, low irrigation efficiency and single function of the existing irrigation equipment in China. Relying on the national water pump engineering technology research center, supported by the national "863" program and other projects, and after more than ten years of systematic and in-depth research, it has invented three high-efficiency multi condition sprinkler irrigation units, three low-pressure uniform sprinkler heads, and a set of ultra long working time efficient solar irrigation system, breaking through the bottlenecks of multi condition efficient operation design technology of water pump, large flow high specific speed pump self-priming technology and low-pressure uniform sprinkler spraying technology, forming a design system of high-efficiency multi condition sprinkler irrigation equipment. Many technologies have reached the international leading level, and 36 invention patents have been authorized (including 4 U.S. patents). The research results have been widely adopted by the water-saving irrigation industry, with a cumulative demonstration application area of more than 900000 mu, which has realized the upgrading of China's irrigation equipment, improved the technical level of China's water-saving irrigation equipment, and played an important role in green agriculture, energy conservation and emission reduction and precision irrigation.
