On December 11, the national water pump and system engineering technology research center held the appointment ceremony of young talents' off campus tutors of Jiangsu University and the Jinshan fluid machinery engineering Academic Salon. Professor guopengcheng of Xi'an University of technology and Professor yaozhifeng of China Agricultural University were invited as off campus tutors of young talents. Yuanshouqi, director of national water pump and system engineering technology research center, Wangfei, director of Personnel Department of Jiangsu University, and other leaders attended the report meeting. On behalf of the school, Wang Fei delivered a welcome speech, expressed his gratitude to all the experts attending the meeting for their long-term care and support for the fluid center, introduced the school's youth talent cultivation plan, put forward ardent expectations and specific requirements for the youth talent cultivation and echelon construction of the fluid center, and issued the letter of appointment of off campus tutors. The report meeting was presided over by zhangdesheng, deputy director of the national water pump and system engineering technology research center / Secretary of the Party committee of the fluid center.
After the employment ceremony, Professor guopengcheng gave an academic report on the study of multiphase flow mechanism and sediment wear characteristics of impulse turbines to the teachers and students. Taking the abrasion of components induced by sand laden high-speed jet of Pelton turbine as the starting point, the report introduces the research progress from two aspects of numerical simulation and experimental analysis, and the results are expected to solve the technical problems in national major water conservancy projects. After the report, Professor guopengcheng interacted with young teachers and graduate students, introduced his own scientific research experience, and pointed out the direction for the growth of young teachers.
