Recently, the appointment ceremony of Professor houdehai from the school of energy of Oviedo University in Spain as a visiting professor of our university was successfully held. Professor Lihong, vice president of Jiangsu University, wore the school badge and issued the letter of appointment to Professor houdehai.

Li Hong first congratulated professor houdehai on his appointment as a visiting professor of our university, thanked him for his strong support for the development of our university, especially the national water pump and system engineering technology research center, and hoped that he would continue to give advice for the high-level construction of our power engineering and Engineering Thermophysics disciplines in the future, strongly support the construction of our international science and technology cooperation platform, and carry out cooperative research in related fields in the future.

Professor houdehai once served as the dean of the school of energy of Oviedo University in Spain. In 2006, he was qualified to serve as a professor of fluid mechanics in any Spanish university. Since 2009, he has served as the director of the doctoral program of Energy Engineering (awarded the title of national excellent program by the Spanish Ministry of Education). He has been rated "excellent" by the national research activity evaluation committee (cneai) for six consecutive times (once every five years). Member of the expert group of the Spanish academic program (aneca), evaluator of the national assessment and outlook agency, and member of the expert group of the Ministry of science and innovation (DPI national program). It has undertaken dozens of national and enterprise projects, including the Ministry of education and science, the Ministry of science and technology, the Ministry of economy and competitiveness, the Ministry of environment, the science and Technology Commission, the General Administration of higher education and so on. He has been engaged in research on transient instability, flow induced vibration, fluid structure coupling, surge, noise and other aspects of fluid machinery for a long time.
