From July 5 to 7, at the invitation of Professor nenad Filipovic, chairman of the Serbian society of mechanics, Professor Peiji, deputy director of the national water pump and system engineering technology research center, and his delegation attended the Ninth International Academic Conference of the Serbian society of mechanics held in vrnyac.

Professor Peiji was invited to give a conference report entitled "Research on high efficiency and high reliability pumps in Jiangsu University" at the turbulence academic forum, introducing the latest progress and future research direction of the team of the national pump and system engineering technology research center of Jiangsu University in the research of hydraulic machinery, especially the turbulent flow inside pumps in recent years. Associate professor wangwenjie gave an academic report entitled "design and optimization of splitter blade of return channel for improvement of pump turbine performance", introducing the latest research progress on the internal turbulent flow control method of pump turbine guide vanes. The report was highly praised and concerned by the participating experts. During the meeting, the delegation had in-depth exchanges with relevant scholars from Serbian universities such as Belgrade University, Novi Sad University, klaguevac University and Nish University, which improved the international influence of fluid machinery and engineering disciplines of our university and the international reputation of pump research.
